Art Thought of the Day

Random Art Thought Ball: I remember looking at catalogs in the early-mid 60's as a child.  Very few pages were in color back then, but they were bigtime eye candy for me. Those colors left a tattoo on my retina I think.  60's images appear like neighbor kids over and over in my digital work.

Backyard color

Morning photo-a balancing point between winter decay and almost spring.

I ran this photo though an effects-toy called Timeline, which displays an image viewed from the technology of different zones in the development of the camera. Top circa 1960's, below circa 1910.

2010: I take this in my backyard at 9am today, in the Pacific Northwest.  You are looking at them in colors interpreted by your browser.
